Our Purpose
Here at the Genoa Historical Society, we recognize the value in our rich history in Genoa. Some of our key functions are to preserve our history with documents, photographs, artifacts and oral histories. We also ensure the preservations of our historic sites and landmarks.
Our Values
We want to preserve our past. When we understand our history it empowers us to be engaged citizens. Sharing our stories and experiences helps us to understand where our town started. It reminds us that we are part of something larger that extends beyond our lifetime.
